Description
Success and Failure: WIP in JSAP
Summary
JSAP started the activities for WIP in 2001, and since then JSAP has contributed to the WIP movement in STEM fields and stayed influential among them. It appeared that JSAP was making slow, yet steady progresses in this area. However, in the last few years, this was put in a test. It became apparent that such activities would not be that solidly based and easily washed away. Through this talk, we review the necessity of networking, and in particular multidimensional connections to stabilize the movements and to make efforts efficient, and discuss that the strong international collaboration will significantly help individual activities.
