Description
We investigate vector-mesons production off the nucleon within a hybrid Regge approach based on effective Lagrangians. We simultaneously examine total and differential cross sections and spin-density matrix elements. Such measurements could be carried out in future high-intensity poin- and kaon-beam experiments at facilities such as J-PARC. The results of this study may help to shed light on the spectroscopy of high-mass nucleon and hyperon resonances.
