Recent experiments have discovered various exotic hadrons near scattering thresholds, stimulating interest in their internal structure. The compositeness is a useful quantity to characterize the hadronic molecular component of eigenstates [1]. In this work, we discuss the compositeness of near-threshold exotic hadrons, especially in the charm sector. We first consider the universal behavior of shallow $s$-wave bound states and apply the framework to near-threshold candidates such as $X(3872)$ and $T_{cc}$ [2]. We then extend the discussion to a near-threshold $p$-wave resonance, focusing on the exotic-hadron candidate $G(3900)$, for which the relation between the pole position and the internal structure is qualitatively different from the $s$-wave bound-state case [3].
